Sisak-Moslavina County Tourist Board presented its tourist uniforms

first_imgPhoto: 2sisters With the aim of promoting the tourist offer at fairs, special presentations, TZSMŽ has published a public call for the design and production of unique tourist uniforms. The local company Natura Ivana jdoo from Sisak, which made two men’s and five women’s uniforms, applied for the tender. All embroidery on the uniforms is newly made and handmade, modeled on the folk costumes of our region, says Ivana Tomašinec Damjanović from the company from the company Natura Ivana jdoo, which is run by the sister Sanja Tomašević brand 2sisters. “Motifs from our region, from Posavina, Moslavina and Banovina, were used. It is about manual and unique work. Handmade on blouses, stitching on white canvas, was done by Marica Šalić from Gornja Posavina, and the executed rose, which is represented as a symbol of the county, was done by Mrs. Kata Šešerin. We wanted to complete the whole through the presentation of the symbols of the whole county, so in addition to roses, blue and green are represented, the colors of the county. We also wanted to empower our women who preserve and nurture our heritage and ultimately show our culture and heritage. ” says Ivana Tomašinec Damjanović The Sisak-Moslavina County Tourist Board presented its unique tourist uniforms. A great example of how small tourist boards can work well, be different and fight for their place under the sun. It is easiest to say that the status quo cannot be adhered to. In this context, I would like to remind you of the excellent action of the Rogoznica Tourist Board (although a sea destination, with a much larger budget than continental tourist boards, but again “small” in the context of large sea destinations) Visitor center or a mobile tourist office. Sanja Tomašinec, designer and engineer of textile technology, who is also responsible for the entire design, points out that this was a unique opportunity to implement a rose on the official uniform as a symbol of the county, which is otherwise less used. “Everything was done according to our traditional clothes that were worn before, and the goal was to process the entire area of the county through one set of clothes. So we got modern uniforms with traditional elements. ” concludes Sanja Tomašinec. The uniforms will have their premiere at the Place2go Fair in Zagreb on March 15-17 this year, and they will also be present at all performances of the SMŽ Tourist Board – at fairs in Slovenia, Germany, Italy and Warsaw. TZSMŽ financed the project in the amount of HRK 30.000,00 gross for the design and manufacture of 7 sets of uniforms.center_img Now the next step would be to design a different promotional stand, to round out the whole process. I keep emphasizing that at trade shows, especially if you are “small” in the context of a smaller budget, you have to be innovative, creative and different in order to draw attention to yourself. If we look at a fair space, it is always the same, with classic white “boxes”, and if someone jumps out with a different approach, it immediately stands out from the others and thus attracts attention and arouses interest. Of course, the first step is to attract attention and interest, and then quality communication and sales come on the scene, ie the promotion of the destination in order to create action, ie the desire to come to the destination. Photo: 2sisters The Sisak-Moslavina County Tourist Board is delighted with the design of the uniforms, especially since it is about domestic production and handicrafts. “There was a need for unique uniforms because this year we are working on increased promotion of our destination abroad (Poland, Italy, Slovenia and Germany), so for practical reasons, to attract attention, we came up with the idea to attract attention with something pleasing to the eye. In the whole story, just different uniforms come to the fore. We still have a lot of ideas, and our next step is to make a different promotional stand. The worst solution is classic spaces with a white background and posters, but in line with the modest income, I hope that we will be able to make a design of a different promotional counter. By the way, last year we broke the magic number of 100.000 overnight stays, which we are very proud of. “Concludes Ingrid Padjen Đurić, director of the Sisak-Moslavina County Tourist Board. Of course, the first step is to attract attention and interest, and then quality communication and sales come on the scene, ie the promotion of the destination in order to create action, ie the desire to come to the destination. The uniforms are visually attractive and differentiate the presentation from other destinationslast_img read more

Reid knew he could achieve dreams

first_img The New Zealand defender only penned a new deal with the Upton Park club in March having long been linked with a move away. Former Hammers boss Sam Allardyce even went as far as to suggest Reid had been tapped up by another Premier League club but the 27-year-old is still at West Ham and will likely start Thursday’s Europa League second qualifying round tie against Birkirkara in Malta. Slaven Bilic’s side hold a slender 1-0 lead after James Tomkins scored a late winner in the first leg and, even though the Hammers face another two rounds just to reach the group stages if they can see off Birkirkara, Reid is enjoying playing in European competition. “Playing in Europe was one of the things I wanted to do and I felt I could achieve it with this club,” he said. “These first few rounds are tough games against teams we are not really used to, but we want to progress and reach the group stage, obviously. “I think we have shown by our dedication and training that we aim to do that and I am sure, come Thursday night, we will go out there and put in a professional performance.” With Bilic and his players away in Malta, West Ham completed the loan signing of Argentina youth international Manuel Lanzini and the former Besiktas coach revealed his seventh summer acquisition is someone he has been aware of for some time. “He’s a good player and we are happy that he joined us,” he said. “I watched him two years ago and I wanted to take him to Besiktas. But then it was very difficult. We were close but now the chance came that we could get him and of course he’s going to help us a lot. He’s going to add even more creativity in the crucial parts of the pitch. “I am confident and I’m hopeful that he can adapt. We’re going to see. He’s not very strong but he rides challenges, he doesn’t go down. So I hope he could be bingo for us. I am really hopeful and I think I have a feeling that he’s going to help us a lot.” The Croatian will be hoping to use Lanzini in later European fixtures but Birkirkara coach Giovanni Tedesco is planning to give the Hammers a stern test. “This is an easy match to prepare for because we are playing against a very good team and the motivation is high,” he said. “We are going to give it our best shot and the rest will take care of itself. We know we have to score a goal but it is not something we can just say and will happen on the pitch. This is something completely different.” Winston Reid insists he always knew he could play in Europe and remain a West Ham player. center_img Press Associationlast_img read more
