Andrew Cuomo, who announced the enforcement blitz dubbed “Speed Week,” which runs through Saturday.“Many of our highway deaths and injuries could be prevented if drivers would comply with speed limits and other rules of the road,” New York State Police Superintendent Joseph D’Amico said.Troopers, including those in unmarked patrol vehicles, will also be watching for distracted or impaired drivers, seatbelt violations and drivers are violating the “Move Over Law.”last_img
