The short of it is, he isn’t going anywhere. In an interview with Brey said that he has every intention on seeing out the end of his current contract with the university.Back in 2018 Brey signed a three year extension that has him under contract until 2025. By the time his contract is up that would make him the longest tenured coach in the history Notre Dame’s men’s basketball program. He is already the winningest coach in program history.
